Description:
Soft earth tones and layered texture give Weathered Silence its quiet power. Created with acrylic and natural sand, this piece feels both grounded and ethereal—like a memory you can’t quite place but want to hold onto.

Finished in a handcrafted pine frame that warms the edges without stealing the show. One-of-a-kind, made in Austin.

A Note From The Artist

My work is deeply rooted in the landscapes and spirit of the American West. Growing up in Colorado, with years spent in Idaho, Arizona, and now the Texas Hill Country, I’ve been shaped by rugged mountains, open deserts, and the quiet resilience of rural life. Old Westerns, country music, and the grit of cowboy culture influence both the mood and texture of my pieces.

In this series, I use acrylic, Mod Podge, and natural sand to create layered, tactile surfaces — echoing the dust, weathering, and timelessness of the places I love.

Each painting is a reflection of the vastness and raw beauty of the West, bringing a touch of that landscape into the homes where they hang.

Note for Collectors
Hand-made originals come with brush ridges, texture, or intentional fading—tiny quirks we love, not defects. Colors can shift a bit from screen to real life, and dimensions are approximate. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, so sales are final (we’ll fix or refund any shipping damage fast). Artist retains copyright.
